Job Description

As an Assistant Lab Coordinator, you will be responsible for handling day-to-day operations in a semiconductor product development lab with very minimal guidance. Your role will involve providing suggestions on process improvements based on user requirements, ensuring compliance in lab audits, performing lab staging and scrapping tasks, managing lab inventory, and following the 6S process. You will be expected to perform medium complexity board setup, SMD level rework, and first level debug for low complexity motherboards. Additionally, you will be responsible for efficiently operating and utilizing lab equipment, materials, benches, and floor space. You will also arrange for the repair and calibration of major equipment, handle inbound and outbound shipments, and mentor Assistant Lab Administrators and Associate I Lab Management. In this role, you will need to adhere to lab processes and standards, meet schedules and timelines, comply with SLAs, reduce handling errors, and maintain productivity standards. You will also be required to support information governance activities, set up basic lab configurations, document work, manage lab inventory, contribute to lab-related knowledge sharing, report task statuses, and mentor team members. To excel in this role, you should possess skills such as explaining and communicating effectively with customers, estimating time and resource requirements for task deliverables, working in a team environment, and demonstrating good written and verbal communication abilities. Knowledge of inventory management tools, hardware components, stock accounting programs, and customs clearance procedures will be beneficial. Overall, as an Assistant Lab Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the semiconductor product development lab and supporting the team in achieving their goals and objectives.,
