Associate I - Business Analysis

As a Business Analyst at UST located in Bangalore, you will be responsible for analyzing the business needs of clients or projects and performing Business Analysis activities under constant supervision. Your role will involve working closely with leads/seniors in the team to understand the business objectives, create software requirements artefacts, identify solution options, and validate them systematically. Your key responsibilities will include eliciting requirements using various techniques such as interviews, document analysis, and requirements workshops. You will assist in following effective requirements practices, developing process flow diagrams, and understanding current/future state diagrams, functional, and technical requirements. In this role, your performance will be measured based on your business acumen, communication effectiveness, stakeholder engagement, and learning and adoption of BA processes and tools. You are expected to demonstrate good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with strong oral and written communication abilities. Additionally, you should be result-oriented, a team player, and possess a quick learning ability in the area of business under focus. You will be expected to maintain business value by understanding business problems, constraints, and dependencies. Your stakeholder engagement skills should include effective communication within and outside the client organization. Furthermore, you should be able to align requirements and design using recommended tools, templates, and processes with minimal assistance. Your knowledge should encompass general awareness of various BA knowledge areas, understanding the importance of planning stakeholder engagement, and following instructions for common techniques. It is essential to prioritize requirements/designs, evaluate change impact, and ensure requirements and designs align with quality standards. In addition, you should have intermediate-level proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and a basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle & Methodologies.
