Description
As a Mobile Web Developer at Standard Chartered, you will be part of a team focused on developing user-centric web and mobile-based digital banking applications. You will work with highly skilled engineers on ReactJS, EmberJS, Flutter, and native mobile platforms (iOS/Android) in modern software development environments. Your primary responsibility will be to finalize end-to-end solutions and deliver products to the Bank's digital channels while constantly analyzing and improving the platform from both technical and user experience perspectives. Your role will involve keeping yourself updated with the latest software technologies and sharing knowledge with your team. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop a new generation of Digital Banking to enhance user experience for clients - Work with a team to develop world-class mobile banking solutions - Utilize strong knowledge of ReactJS to implement best practices and design principles - Optimize web applications and user experience for responsiveness and performance - Collaborate with Product Owner and Scrum teams to deliver user-centric solutions - Promote Agile and modern software engineering practices - Co-ordinate with development and interfacing teams to create a delivery pipeline - Ensure proper management of risks, issues, and schedules following Agile principles - Collaborate with DevOps and Testing teams to enhance a continuous delivery pipeline - Adapt to changes in priorities and requirements **Skills And Experience:** - Hands-on experience in developing web applications with ReactJS and Typescript - Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) - Strong experience with state popular libraries like Zustand, Redux, React Router, SCSS, and NextJS - Understanding of mobile hybrid architecture, WebView, and JS bridge - Knowledge of API integration - Familiarity with TDD (Test-Driven Development) and pair programming - Experience in evaluating new front-end methodologies and technologies - Proficiency in responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization - Expertise in maintaining applications, crash analytics, remote debugging, and continuous integration - Proficient in DevOps practices and tools - Ability to build maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing - Understanding of iOS/Android system and programming paradigm, including OOP, TDD, and dependency management - Knowledge of runtime security for web applications - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills **Prior Experience:** - BS or MS in Computer Sciences or Software Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience - Proven experience in iOS, Android, and Flutter development - Proficiency in other programming languages such as Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, Python, Rust, Ruby, or Java - Full software development lifecycle experience - Experience with DevOps toolchain (ADO, JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Vx) - Experience with TDD, BDD, performance, and security testing for mobile and web applications - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Standard Chartered is an international bank committed to making a positive difference for clients, communities, and employees.
