Associate Engineer, HIG HBM Layout

As a Layout Design Engineer at Micron Technology's HBM Team in Hyderabad, India, you will be involved in designing layouts for intensive applications such as artificial intelligence and high-performance computing solutions like High Bandwidth Memory. You will collaborate with peer teams globally and work on multiple projects simultaneously. Your responsibilities will include designing layout for leaf cell/Stdcell or sub block, possessing a strong understanding of MOS basics, fabrication fundamentals, and Analog layout basics. You should be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and approach IC layout design with a systematic and methodical mindset. Demonstrating commitment to your assignments and taking proactive measures to ensure timely completion of work will be crucial. You will also be required to interpret DRC/LVS and other physical verification checks and effectively communicate with internal teams to ensure the success of layout projects. To qualify for this role, you should be a new college graduate or have up to 2 years of experience in analog/custom layout design in advanced CMOS processes across various technology nodes. Expertise in tools like Cadence VLE/VXL and Mentor Graphic Calibre DRC/LVS is essential. Understanding the impact of layout on circuit parameters such as speed, capacitance, power, and area, and the ability to implement high-quality layouts while adhering to design constraints will be key aspects of this role. Problem-solving skills in physical verification of custom layout are also desired. A degree in BE or MTech in Electronic/VLSI Engineering is required for this position. Exceptionally talented Diploma holders in electronic or VLSI engineering will also be considered.
