Associate Engineer Backend (Java)

Role Overview: As a Software Engineer - Backend at our company, you will contribute to building robust backend systems. You will collaborate closely with experienced engineers to learn and grow your skills. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing and maintaining backend components, writing clean and efficient code adhering to coding standards, and actively participating in code reviews to provide feedback. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain backend components. - Write clean, efficient code following coding standards. - Participate in code reviews and offer feedback. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. - 2+ years of backend development experience with a strong foundation in programming concepts and data structures. - Proficiency in backend language such as Java. - Proficiency in backend development using Java EE technologies like Java, application servers, servlet containers, JMS, JPA, Spring MVC, and Hibernate. - Strong understanding of web services and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) standards, including REST, OAuth, and JSON, with experience in Java environments. - Experience with Object-Relational Mapper (ORM) tools, working within Java-based solutions like Hibernate. - Experience with databases, both SQL and NoSQL. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working with large-scale, high-performance systems. - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Contributions to open-source projects.
