Job Description

As a Client Onboarding Manager at our organization, your primary responsibility will be to onboard new clients by leveraging various avenues, including Agri NTB accounts. You will be required to meet existing clients, generate leads from them, and collaborate with CA, Consultants, etc., to drive business growth. Understanding the unique needs of clients and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements while ensuring revenue growth will be crucial. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining the quality of onboarded accounts by regularly assessing their health and promptly identifying any suspicious activities for further investigation. Your role will also involve maintaining sales discipline by creating timely and accurate account plans, updating NTB and pipeline information, and submitting call reports. It is essential to deliver on RORWA commitments made during the approval process and achieve the assigned objectives as per the annual P3 document. Adhering to all internal and external regulations, embedding operational risk monitoring into business processes, and actively participating in Compliance Risk Management and Operational Risk Management Assurance are key aspects of your job. You will need to leverage your substantial banking industry experience, sharp business acumen, interpersonal skills, and cultural awareness to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. With a focus on risk management, you will be responsible for monitoring major risk issues, addressing concentrations, and ensuring timely remedial actions or reporting to Risk Committees. Promoting a culture of compliance with internal controls and regulatory frameworks will be central to your governance responsibilities. In alignment with Standard Chartered Bank's values and Code of Conduct, you are expected to demonstrate exemplary conduct and uphold the highest ethical standards. Taking personal responsibility for compliance with laws, regulations, and the Group Code of Conduct, you will contribute to achieving the desired outcomes outlined in the Banks Conduct Principles. Your key stakeholders will include internal teams such as Risk, CRC, Trade Ops, Audit, Branches & PVB, and external stakeholders as necessary. Your skills in financial analysis, relationship management, and portfolio management will be essential for success in this role. To qualify for this position, you must have substantial experience in the banking industry, with a proven track record in a similar role. Your ability to assess risk, drive returns, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and manage portfolios effectively will be critical. A minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience in lending to SMEs/Mid Corporates, preferably in Mumbai, is required.
