Job Description

As a Fraud Risk Manager at Standard Chartered in Chennai, IN, your role involves strategizing, managing, and mitigating fraud risks for digital channels and various projects related to FRM. Your key responsibilities include: - Supporting and providing inputs for driving the operational model and managed risk for digital channel, fraud prevention strategy, and various projects related to FRM - Contributing to Fraud Risk strategy and infrastructure for channels and products for efficient investigation of cases and mitigating the fraud risk - Managing fraud risk, assisting businesses in implementing best-in-class tools & processes to minimize fraud losses while maintaining and adhering to customer charter goals and objectives - Ensuring the Fraud Risk Management framework is effectively embedded and communicated across the Retail Customers segment - Developing a proactive, independent, balanced fraud risk awareness culture within the organization - Leading standardization, automation, and consolidation through re-engineering and process improvement initiatives for Fraud Risk Management in the country - Identifying and sharing industry best practices and working with businesses for their feasibility and implementation - Managing the process of fraud investigation within specified time and reporting to relevant stakeholders - Proactively conducting fraud risk assessment of processes and channels to identify gaps and recommend mitigating the risk Your key stakeholders will include internal stakeholders such as RCOs, Country Retail Risk Head, Regional / Country Business Heads, Product Head, Retail Client segment, and external stakeholders like Auditors, Regulators, Law Enforcement agencies, and Suppliers. To excel in this role, you should have experience in Fraud Risk Management, understanding of Digital Frauds, fraud tools like Falcon, Clari5, TMX, AFD, working knowledge of rule writing, and excellent understanding of Excel.
