Associate Director / Director - Finance

As an experienced candidate with 8+ years of work experience in Trust/NGO accounting and finance, you will be responsible for all accounting and finance-related tasks at the office. You will collaborate with existing employees and volunteers, managing the finance team. Your primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to: - Manage end-to-end Books of Accounts, prepare monthly financial statements, and MIS reports - Provide strategic support to program teams in preparing and managing annual budgets with adequate controls, monitoring, and reporting - Manage donor fund utilization, provide real-time visibility, prepare fund utilization reports, and handle donor audits - Manage year-end Statutory audit, Income tax Filing, and periodic statutory & legal compliances including FCRA returns - Manage treasury operations, cash flow, and liaise with Banks & Financial Institutions - Establish/improve SOPs, Finance policies, and systems for compliance and effective finance function management Qualification Required: - Professional qualification (CA/CMA or equivalent) - 7-15 years of relevant work experience with a minimum of 2 years of people management experience - Prior experience in trust/society accounting will be an added advantage - Hands-on experience in QuickBooks/Zoho Books or equivalent You should possess good interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency in MS Office packages including Excel, resourcefulness, responsibility, and self-starting ability, and efficient data management skills.
