Join the Workforce Activity Data Utility (WADU) team, a part of the Chief Administration Offices Strategic Initiatives organization, as an Associate. The team is at the forefront of data-driven decision making, developing a new capability that utilizes workforce data to enhance strategic decisions. The Palmos Data Quality team plays a crucial role in the success of Employee Platforms by ensuring data accuracy and integrity. We highly appreciate thought leadership, creativity, logical thinking, and team collaboration. As an Associate in the Workforce Activity Data Utility team, your primary responsibility will be managing the end-to-end data journey. This includes sourcing new data feeds, ingesting them, creating data quality rules for quality assurance, and consistently devising innovative solutions to streamline and enhance the process at every stage. Your key responsibilities will include executing business as usual activities to uphold good data quality, assessing current user cases, conducting gap analyses, and identifying opportunities to establish data quality rules for critical data elements. You will collaborate with client engagement teams to ensure that end users derive maximum value from our analytics and insights. Building strong relationships with stakeholders and taking ownership of developing and operating the data quality engine will be integral to your role. Proficiency in coding and implementing data quality rules in the DQ tool on Palmos is essential. Maintaining effective communication with data providers and consumers in the event of data issues is crucial. Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills required for this role: - Proven track record as a self-starter with the ability to manage workload and deliverables effectively. - Minimum of 6 years of experience in a data-related role, change/transformation role, or as a technology Business Analyst collaborating with a technology team. - Passion for data, proficiency in data skills, BIG Data, and data tools. - Expertise in working with data to query, analyze, and ensure data accuracy, including data interrogation and quality checking. - Experience with data tools such as SQL, Python, Alteryx, Excel, Tableau, Qlikview, and RDS. - Strong entrepreneurial mindset, adept at structuring and scoping complex problems, and a team player with a clear ownership mentality. - Excellent problem-solving abilities, robust analytical skills, and innovative idea generation with the capability to drive concepts to execution.
