Associate Counselor

We are looking for a Junior Counselor to join our team at The College Tribe on a full-time basis. If you have experience studying overseas or have gone through the admissions process yourself, and if you are a quick, thoughtful individual with excellent writing skills, fast research abilities, and the patience to work diligently, then you might be the perfect fit for this role. The College Tribe is a boutique admissions firm that specializes in assisting students in creating impactful applications for top universities worldwide. As an Associate Counselor, you will play a crucial role in guiding students through the entire college admissions journey, starting from profile building to the final selection of universities. Your responsibilities will include brainstorming and editing college essays, conducting detailed profile reviews, tracking deadlines, preparing students for interviews, and researching universities and changing admissions trends. Additionally, you will be expected to communicate effectively with both students and parents, provide regular updates, and support in various outreach activities such as webinars and workshops. To excel in this role, you should have prior experience studying abroad or navigating the admissions process, along with at least 2 years of full-time work experience. While you don't need to be a professional writer, you should possess strong writing skills and the ability to communicate clearly. Being patient, proactive, and adept at research and follow-ups are essential qualities for success in this position.
