Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Provide high-quality medical care to patients with gastrointestinal, hepatic, and pancreatic disorders.
Assist senior consultants in performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and ERCP.
Conduct clinical assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor patient progress in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, oncologists, pathologists, and radiologists for comprehensive patient management.
Maintain accurate medical documentation including patient histories, examination findings, diagnostic test results, and treatment plans.
Stay current with developments and research in the field of gastroenterology to apply evidence-based practices.
Participate in departmental CMEs, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, infection control practices, and patient safety guidelines.
Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, procedures, and lifestyle modifications.

Desired Candidate Profile

MBBS with MD/DNB in Internal Medicine and DM/DNB in Gastroenterology (or pursuing final year/awaiting results).
0 to 3 years of relevant experience in a tertiary care hospital or gastroenterology setup.
Strong clinical acumen with a patient-centric approach.
Excellent communication, team collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
