Associate Clinical Database Programmer

As an individual contributing to the Clinical Data Management team at Novartis, you will play a crucial role in the timely and professional management of data management and coding deliverables, as well as Clinical Database Delivery and DAP data for assigned trials. Your responsibilities will include ensuring high-quality data is available for analysis and reporting, supporting the development and enhancement of training modules, and adhering to Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and data-handling procedures. You will be integral in supporting quality deliverables within Data Operations (DO) and ensuring that pharmaceutical drug development plans are executed efficiently with high-quality deliverables. Your major accountabilities will involve demonstrating technical proficiency, scientific creativity, collaboration with colleagues, and independent thought. You will provide input into writing specifications for study-specific validation checks, participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and contribute to ongoing data review processes. Additionally, you will assist in creating graphics for training and operational applications, participate in Quality Compliance activities, drive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), and ensure all activities are performed with quality and adherence to processes. Key Performance Indicators for your role will include achieving high levels of quality, timeliness, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction in all Data Management activities and deliverables. You will be expected to adhere to Novartis policies and guidelines, receive positive feedback from customers, partners, and projects, and ensure no critical audit findings due to Data Management. To excel in this role, you should have experience in collaborating across boundaries and possess skills in Clinical Data Management, Data Entry, Data Management, Data Science, Databases, and be detail-oriented. Proficiency in English language is required for effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.
