Associate Civil/Structural Designer

As an Associate Civil/Structural Designer at our company, you will be an entry-level position where you will receive close supervision and support. Your work will involve following standard operating procedures and quality guidelines. It is essential for you to have basic skills in analytical or scientific methods along with appropriate licenses or training certifications. Your key responsibilities will include: - Assisting in preparing detailed drawings and deliverables of high technical quality with consistent presentation - Gaining experience in design, 2D drafting, and 3D drafting/model creation - Developing basic technical skills to complete assigned work - Becoming fully familiar with project scope, specifications, schedule, and inter-discipline requirements - Preparing Civil and Structural layouts in collaboration with Engineers from other disciplines - Ensuring work is done in accordance with company requirements, client standards, and health and safety policies - Developing 3D models and providing drafting support as needed You will report to the Project Lead Designer, Lead Engineer, and the Supervising Department Manager. You will liaise with Designers & Senior Designers within the company. In terms of qualifications, we are looking for someone who: - Is a High School graduate with a diploma in Civil or Structural disciplines or equivalent experience - Has entry-level to less than 3 years of drafting and/or design experience - Possesses knowledge of 2D drafting systems like AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, and other drafting software - Has familiarity with 3D design systems like E3D or S3D - Is proactive, willing to learn, and flexible for business traveling/assignments About Us: Our company has been driving the energy transition for over 100 years with the brightest minds across 54 countries.
