The Associate Civil/Structural Designer is an entry-level position, requiring close supervision and support. You will work within established standard operating procedures and adhere to quality guidelines. Basic skills in analytical or scientific methods, as well as appropriate licenses/training certifications, are necessary. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of detailed drawings and deliverables of high technical quality. You will gain experience in various areas such as design, 2D drafting, and 3D drafting/model creation. Developing basic technical skills, becoming familiar with project scopes, and ensuring work complies with requirements and safety policies will be key tasks. Collaboration with Civil and Structural Engineers and providing drafting support as needed will also be part of your role. You will report to the Project Lead Designer, Lead Engineer, and the Supervising Department Manager. Liaising with Designers & Senior Designers will be essential for effective communication within the team. Qualifications for this role include a High School diploma in Civil or Structural disciplines or equivalent experience. Entry-level experience in drafting and/or design, knowledge of 2D drafting systems, and familiarity with 3D design systems are required. Being proactive, willing to learn, and flexible for business travel/assignments are important attributes for success in this position.,
