Associate Analyst - Operations Performance & Analytics

As an Associate Analyst - Inflight Scheduling Performance and Analysis at United Airlines Business Services Pvt. Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of United Airlines Inc., you will play a crucial role in supporting the Inflight Resource Planning and Scheduling teams. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around gathering data and conducting analyses related to Inflight Crew Staffing and Operations Performance. Here's what you can expect in this role: Key Responsibilities: - Identify and develop process improvement opportunities within the organization - Support data analytics development and provide data-driven business insights on crew productivity, scheduler efficiencies, ops reliability, reserve crew utilization, strategic initiatives, and potential changes to labor agreements - Own the regular maintenance of reports and dashboards - Interact with all levels in the organization and seek out opportunities for process improvement - Support Inflight leadership with analytics and reporting on day-to-day as well as monthly functions - Perform ad hoc data mining and analysis - Automate existing manual reports and processes to enhance department throughput - Support activities related to ops performance and resource management for flight attendants - Build visual presentations, dashboards, tools, and reports for Inflight leadership, frontline management, and individual business teams throughout the organization Qualifications: - Deep understanding of data structures and relationships - Proficiency in data visualization using reporting tools like Spotfire, Tableau, etc., to create meaningful dashboards - Excel proficiency and data analysis/modeling skills - Ability to write queries and procedures using traditional and modern technologies/languages like SQL, Python, etc. - Capability to study and understand business needs, and design solutions that connect business processes with quantifiable outcomes - Bachelor's Degree - 0 - 1 year of experience in business intelligence, analytics, and/or data engineering Join us at United Airlines Business Services Pvt.
