As an Associate Analyst within the Risk Management Services (RMS) team at EY, your role will involve developing subject matter expertise on RMS/independence issues and serving as the primary point of contact for customer teams. You will interpret RMS policies, recommend actions based on firm guidance, and produce deliverables that demonstrate the diligence with which tasks are performed. Your work product will be subject to review by outside regulators, requiring interactions at the executive level with client team members and RMS personnel. **Key Responsibilities:** - Facilitate and drive processes to completion by following up on requests from RMS Consultants and assisting client teams - Understand key requirements of firm and regulators" RMS rules and policies - Perform initial review of submissions from client teams, evaluating completeness, accuracy, and appropriateness of proposed transactions/requests - Act as a liaison between client teams, other RMS team members, and various functional areas within the firm - Formulate answers to client questions and manage tasks and activities in a timely manner - Utilize analytical and project management methodology and tools - Learn the firm's structure, business strategies, service lines, and people - Build a network of contacts within RMS and across the firm - Apply judgment to initial consultations and submission reviews, rapidly developing an understanding of key requirements of firm and regulators" RMS rules and policies - Provide feedback to continuously improve processes **Qualifications:** - Post Graduate degree - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Excellent written and verbal communication abilities - Good analytical thinking and decision-making skills - Proficiency in MS Excel and Word At EY, the focus is on building a better working world by creating long-term value for clients, people, and society while fostering trust in the capital markets.
