Associate AI Applications Engineer

You will be working as an Associate AI Applications Engineer at RSM, the leading provider of professional services to the middle market globally. Your role will involve assisting the Business Applications teams in building, hardening, and deploying AI capabilities such as copilots, agent workflows, and intelligent automations across various systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365, the Power Platform, and other line-of-business systems. Your main focus will be on last-mile engineering tasks including secure integrations, CI/CD, testing & release, telemetry, and runbook operations to ensure that pilots are transformed into reliable and supportable products for clients. Collaboration with solution architects, app consultants, and data engineers will be essential to translate designs into operational AI solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in building, hardening, and deploying AI capabilities like copilots, agent workflows, and intelligent automations - Focus on last-mile engineering tasks such as secure integrations, CI/CD, testing & release, telemetry, and runbook operations - Collaborate closely with solution architects, app consultants, and data engineers to translate designs into operational AI solutions Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in CS/SE/IS or equivalent experience - Proficiency in Azure or Power Platform; familiarity with Git and basic CI/CD - Working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, SQL; scripting in Python or TypeScript/C# - Familiarity with LLM concepts and software delivery lifecycle (Agile/sprints) - Strong written/verbal communication skills in a client-facing consulting environment In addition to the above qualifications, the following are preferred qualifications: - Knowledge of Responsible AI practices and data protection in enterprise environments - Experience developing AI agents using Copilot Studio, M365 Copilot, and Declarative Agents - Strong knowledge of Power Platform tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, Adaptive Cards, and Custom Connectors - Familiarity with Azure AI services like Azure OpenAI, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps - Proficiency in programming languages like Python, TypeScript, JavaScript - Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) - Experience with version control tools like Git, GitHub, and Azure DevOps - Working knowledge of Docker and containerized deployments - Ability to craft effective prompts and natural-language responses for AI agents - Strong written communication skills for clear tool instructions and system messages - Familiarity with ERP systems such as Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Business Central, or NetSuite - Experience translating business requirements into modular AI workflows and scalable solutions - Proven ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and improve AI pipelines - Comfortable working in agile, cross-functional development environments At RSM, you will have access to a competitive benefits and compensation package, along with flexibility in your schedule to balance work and personal life demands.
