Associate Accounting Manager, General Ledger

As a Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant with 6 to 8 years of experience in the Record to Report function of the APAC region, your primary responsibilities will include: - Ensuring the monthly closure of books as per the agreed timeline. - Reviewing financial statements in compliance with IGAAP. - Preparing Flux analysis for the Profit & Loss account. - Reviewing Balance Sheet schedules in the format required by the management. - Implementing and enforcing internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity. - Ensuring compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory standards, including GST and TDS applicable in India. - Reviewing Advance tax and self-assessment tax computation as per the provisions of the Income-tax Act, 1961. - Managing the annual audit process, liaising with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax, and transfer pricing auditors. - Ensuring timely filing of tax returns, including GST, income tax, and other relevant taxes. Qualifications required for this role: - The candidate should be a Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant with 6 to 8 years of experience in the Record to Report function of the APAC region, or any other candidate with at least 15 years of experience in a similar role. - Good communication skills are essential for effective interaction with stakeholders.
