Associate - Accountant

As a GL Accountant Sr. at CBRE Business Services Organization (BSO) in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, you will be responsible for maintaining a complete and accurate general ledger as part of the Controlling job function. Your role will involve answering questions related to accounting issues, preparing various financial reports, reviewing journal entries for accuracy, evaluating accounting variances, and reconciling accounts receivables for small to medium-sized clients. You will also be responsible for creating month-end accounting entries, reconciling discrepancies, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy of data in the general ledger. Additionally, you will examine financial statements for compliance with accounting requirements and demonstrate knowledge of standard principles while working within established procedures to meet objectives and deadlines. To qualify for this role, a Bachelor's Degree is preferred along with up to 3 years of relevant experience. However, a combination of experience and education will also be considered. You should have the ability to solve standard problems using existing procedures, analyze information, and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Strong organizational skills, an inquisitive mindset, and intermediate math skills are also required for this position.
