Job Description

Role Overview: As a Strategic Engagement Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing opportunities, overseeing bid processes, and driving business development initiatives. Your responsibilities will include ensuring alignment of proposal responses to client objectives, managing bid teams, setting presales standards, and establishing pursuit calendars. Additionally, you will be responsible for solution design, collateral management, practice development, client visit management, knowledge management, stakeholder management, and people management. Key Responsibilities: - Review and ensure alignment of proposal response to client objectives for all bids within your portfolio. - Engage with appropriate stakeholders to create bid teams. - Own customer presentations by laying the framework and guiding the team to create content. - Set presales standards and guidelines for the team. - Ensure adherence to compliance initiatives in bid management process. - Assist in business process and operational process mapping. - Establish and manage pursuit calendar. - Manage internal governance for solution/delivery/business approvals. - Assist Client Partners in Account Planning and execution. - Bid resourcing by forming bid teams through collaboration with solutioning, finance, commercial, and delivery teams. - Work with onsite/business teams on new customer prospects. - Own the response to opportunities in terms of quality, timelines, and completeness. - Review the presence of differentiated solutions that meet customer requirements. - Review and articulate solutions in response to RFPs/RFIs/unsolicited bids. - Facilitate discussions on winning themes, SWOT analysis, and competitor analysis. - Act as a subject matter expert within the Business Development team. - Anchor problem definition/solution identification workshops for deals. - Understand market trends and create appropriate marketing collaterals. - Ensure compliance with Cognizant brand guidelines. - Prepare and maintain vertical credentials and case studies. - Identify and drive creation of reusable artifacts to showcase Cognizant expertise. - Manage client visits and relationships with stakeholders. - Promote adoption of knowledge management portal. - Conduct training programs and knowledge sharing sessions for the team. - Participate in talent acquisition activities and mentor team members. Qualifications Required: - MBA or Engineering Graduate with relevant industry experience. - Must have skills in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. - Experience in Manufacturing Operations Management (Manlog) is preferred.
