Maintenance Operations

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance activities (mechanical, electrical, utilities) to ensure minimal downtime.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all food processing equipment and utilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical/electrical faults promptly.
• Monitor the performance of critical machinery (mixers, conveyors, chillers, boilers, ovens, packaging lines, refrigeration systems, etc.).

B. Food Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all maintenance work complies with

  food safety regulations

• Maintain hygienic maintenance practices to avoid contamination risks.
• Participate in internal and external audits related to maintenance and food safety.

C. Equipment & Projects

• Assist in the installation, commissioning, and validation of new machinery and equipment.
• Maintain equipment documentation, drawings, SOPs, calibration schedules, and spares inventory.

D. Team Leadership & Coordination

• Supervise maintenance technicians, fitters, electricians, and contractors.
• Conduct skill development and safety training for maintenance staff.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and supply chain teams for smooth plant operations.

E. Safety & Compliance

• Enforce workplace safety protocols (LOTO, PPE, machine guarding, electrical safety).
• Conduct risk assessments and support the implementation of safety improvement actions.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements related to boilers, compressors, ETP, and electrical systems.

F. Reporting & Analysis

• Track and report maintenance KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, downtime analysis, spare consumption).
• Use CMMS/ERP systems for work order management and asset tracking.
• Drive continuous improvement using tools like Root Cause Analysis.
