Assistant/Deputy Manager - Civil

Role & responsibilities

• Execution of civil engineering projects in compliance with industry standards.
• Manage and oversee construction sites, ensuring work is completed according to specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Oversee the maintenance of existing civil infrastructure, including buildings, roads, storage tanks, and other facilities.
• Prepare and maintain accurate reports related to civil engineering activities, including project status, site reports, and incident reports. Ensure compliance with industry regulation and audits, and compliance certifications.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil projects and ensure adherence to budget throughout the project lifecycle.
• Process invoices according to the SOP and approval matrix, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures.
• Coordinate with third-party contractors, suppliers, and consultants for the procurement of materials, equipment, and services needed for civil projects.
• All construction activities are performed in an environmentally responsible manner, enforce safety protocols and best practices for civil works,
• Identify potential risks related to civil projects and manage emergencies or unforeseen site challenges.
• Supervise and mentor a team of civil, identify training needs and promote professional development to improve the teams skills.
• Any new project activities assigned by the Head of Department or directed by management.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance for civil works in industrial settings.

• B

  . Tech in Civil Engineering
• 6-12 Years of Experience
• Knowledge of Civil Engineering Fundamentals, Construction & Project Management
• Technical Proficiency, Problem-Solving & Decision-Making, Cost Estimation and Budgeting
• Familiarity with various structural analysis software
