Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Classroom Support

Assist the lead teacher in preparing and delivering lessons.
Support students during class activities, group work, and practical exercises.
Monitor and maintain classroom discipline and encourage positive behavior.

Student Engagement & Learning

Provide additional support to students needing extra help.
Assist in evaluating student progress and maintaining academic records.
Encourage participation, curiosity, and critical thinking among students.

Administrative Assistance

Help prepare teaching materials, worksheets, and visual aids.
Maintain attendance records, grade sheets, and other classroom documentation.
Support organization of school events, competitions, and extracurricular activities.

Communication & Collaboration

Communicate effectively with lead teachers, students, and parents as needed.
Collaborate with other teaching staff to implement lesson plans and teaching strategies.
Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions.

Professional Development

Stay updated with teaching methodologies and curriculum changes.
Assist in incorporating technology and innovative methods into teaching practices.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Teaching, or relevant subject area.
15 years of experience as an Assistant Teacher, Tutor, or Teaching Assistant.
Good understanding of child development, teaching methodologies, and classroom management.
Proficiency in MS Office, online teaching tools, or educational software is a plus.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
