Job Description

Assistant Manager Taxation needed in an Education Group in Hyderabad. Preference to someone who can join immediately. Role - Responsible for ensuring manage specific tax-related functions in addition to compliance-related activities. Should report monthly and quarterly tax preparation. In addition to this, should also provide a reconciliation of a company's condition for income tax and other tax matters from time to time. Responsibilities - Delivering a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe. Building relationships and interacting with school finance team and consultants Ensure accurate, timely filing of consolidated central, state, and local applicable tax returns and other business-related filings. Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax processManage and facilitate income tax and Indirect tax audits. Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments. Provide support with various internal / Statutory audits and special tax related projects. Review tax returns and monthly /quarterly/yearly tax projections. Manage and mentor members of school finance team to greater levels of effectiveness and engagement Qualification, Skills Knowledge and Experience MBA-Finance / B.com /M.com Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance, and procedures for corporations. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong experience with a variety of tax operations and ability to drive process improvements Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Minimum 5 years of experience in Taxation Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
