We are looking for an experienced, customer-focused, and results-driven Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, lead the sales team, and achieve sales and operational targets. The role involves managing store activities, improving customer satisfaction, monitoring inventory, driving sales performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and operational standards.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership abilities, retail management experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Experience in eyewear, fashion, consumer electronics, or lifestyle retail will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Store Operations Management: Manage daily store opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, cash handling, and routine operational activities.
• Sales Target Achievement: Set sales goals, monitor individual and store-level performance, and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Team Management: Supervise, motivate, and guide sales staff to ensure productivity, accountability, and effective teamwork.
• Staff Training and Development: Train employees on product knowledge, customer service, sales techniques, and ethical selling practices.
• Customer Service: Ensure a positive customer experience by assisting with product selection, addressing enquiries, and resolving escalated complaints.
• Product Consultation: Help customers select suitable eyewear based on their preferences and requirements, while coordinating prescription-related processes with qualified optical professionals.
• Upselling and Cross-Selling: Encourage appropriate upselling and cross-selling of eyewear, lenses, accessories, and related products to improve sales performance.
• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, manage replenishment, coordinate stock transfers, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Visual Merchandising: Ensure attractive product displays, organized store layouts, and proper product placement in accordance with merchandising guidelines.
• Sales Reporting: Prepare daily and periodic sales reports and track key performance indicators, including conversion rates, average bill value, and revenue performance.
• Complaint and Returns Management: Handle customer complaints, product returns, exchanges, and service-related issues in accordance with established policies.
• POS and Billing Management: Oversee point-of-sale (POS) operations, billing accuracy, cash reconciliation, and transaction records.
• Compliance and Audits: Ensure adherence to company policies, operational procedures, cash-handling standards, and inventory audit requirements.
• Performance Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve store efficiency, customer satisfaction, team productivity, and overall sales performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: 2–5 years of retail experience, including team supervision or store operations management.
• Industry Experience: Experience in eyewear, fashion, consumer electronics, lifestyle retail, or a similar customer-facing industry is an advantage.
• Retail Management: Strong understanding of store operations, sales management, inventory control, and customer service.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to supervise, motivate, and develop a team while maintaining high performance standards.
• Sales Expertise: Knowledge of sales techniques, upselling, cross-selling, and strategies for achieving revenue targets.
• Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to handle customer concerns professionally.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, MS Excel, and sales reporting tools.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret sales data, track KPIs, and implement performance improvement strategies.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work retail shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
