Assistant Sap Abap Manager

Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer to join our IT department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and enhancing SAP applications and solutions using ABAP programming. The role involves understanding business requirements and translating them into technical solutions while ensuring seamless integration, report generation, and system performance optimization. Key Responsibilities: 1. Programming in SAP ABAP: Develop and maintain SAP applications, including forms, reports, interfaces, and data conversions using ABAP. 2. Knowledge of Integrations: Ensure seamless integration between SAP and other external systems using appropriate integration techniques. 3. Adobe Reporting: Design and develop SAP Adobe forms, ensuring customization according to user requirements for both internal and external reporting. 4. CDS Views (Core Data Services): Create and optimize CDS Views for improved data access and performance in SAP S/4HANA. 5. ALV (ABAP List Viewer): Develop and customize reports using ALV Grid/List to enhance user interactivity and data presentation. 6. Basic Functional Knowledge: Understand the basic functional modules of SAP (such as FI, MM, SD, etc.) to collaborate effectively with functional teams and provide technical support. 7. Customization of Forms: Design and customize standard and custom SAP forms (SmartForms, Adobe Forms, etc.) for various business functions. 8. Enhancements of Standard Forms/Reports: Modify and enhance existing SAP standard reports, forms, and processes based on business needs. 9. Transport Request Management: Handle the transport requests for moving ABAP developments and customizations across SAP system landscapes (development, quality assurance, and production). Required Skills: SAP ABAP: Strong hands-on experience with ABAP development, including data dictionary objects, reports, forms (SmartForms, Adobe), user exits, BADI, BAPI, and enhancement framework. Integration Knowledge: Proficiency in integrating SAP with third-party systems, such as using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and other middleware tools. Adobe Forms: Expertise in developing and customizing Adobe Forms within SAP. CDS Views: Experience in designing and implementing CDS Views, especially in S/4HANA environments. ALV Development: Competency in creating ALV reports for effective data display and user interaction. Basic Functional Understanding: General knowledge of key SAP functional modules (FI, MM, SD, PP) to effectively collaborate with functional teams. Customizing Forms: Expertise in modifying SAP forms (SmartForms/Adobe) based on user specifications. Transport Management: Familiarity with SAP Transport Management System (TMS) for moving changes across landscapes. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of experience as an SAP ABAP Developer or a similar role. Certification in SAP ABAP (preferred but not mandatory). Experience with S/4HANA environments (preferred). Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and within a team. Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects.
