About the Role We are looking for a goal-oriented Assistant Sales Manager with hands-on experience in the Wiring Harness industry, who can take ownership of sales initiatives while supporting senior management. The candidate will be responsible for expanding the companys reach in automotive, EV, and renewable energy segments, nurturing client accounts, and driving order closures. This role is designed for professionals ready to take the next step in their careertransitioning from a sales executive role into a team-oriented leadership position with added responsibility in planning, execution, and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Sales Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies for wiring harness
  • products.
  • Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities in the EV, solar, and automotive
  • sectors.
  • Manage existing customer accounts with a focus on relationship building, retention, and repeat
  • business.
  • Conduct market research to gather insights on competitors, customer needs, and emerging
  • industry trends.
  • Assist in leading client negotiations, preparing proposals, and ensuring competitive pricing
  • strategies.
  • Coordinate with the technical and operations teams to deliver customized wiring harness
  • solutions.
  • Track performance against sales targets, providing regular reports to management.
  • Mentor junior sales team members where required and support coordination of sales activities.
  • Attend industry-related trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to represent Mecwin

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3- 5 years of proven experience in sales/business development within the Wiring Harness
  • industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Knowledge of technical product sales; background in automotive/Solar/EV domains will be an
  • advantage.
  • Ability to manage client accounts and balance multiple priorities under deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and exposure to CRM/reporting software.
  • Graduate degree in Engineering, Business, or Marketing (MBA preferred but not mandatory).
