Key Responsibilities: - **Video Editing:** Transform raw footage into high-quality video content that meets creative and project standards using industry-standard software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer. Enhance production value and viewer engagement by integrating graphics, sound, and visual effects. - **Collaboration & Storytelling:** Collaborate closely with producers, directors, and team members to ensure alignment with project goals. Contribute to crafting compelling and coherent storytelling experiences and actively participate in project discussions and creative sessions. - **Project Management:** Manage multiple video projects simultaneously to ensure timely completion and consistent quality. Display strong time management and prioritization skills across editing, academic, and mentorship duties. - **Mentorship & Guidance:** Provide mentorship to student interns and junior creatives by offering feedback and professional guidance. Support students" creative growth by sharing industry insights and knowledge. - **Professional Development:** Continuously enhance skills through courses, workshops, or independent learning. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and evolving best practices in video production. Requirements: - Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a video editor in sectors like film, television, or advertising. Skill Set: - Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer. - Strong comprehension of video production workflows, including shooting, lighting, and audio. - Exceptional storytelling skills with a diverse portfolio showcasing editing projects. - Ability to collaborate and create in fast-paced environments. - Effective communication skills for team collaboration and student mentorship. - Experience with motion graphics and VFX tools like Adobe After Effects. - Knowledge of color grading techniques and software like DaVinci Resolve. - Previous experience in mentoring or teaching in academic or professional environments. - Commitment to continuous learning and academic involvement.,
