The Assistant Professor is responsible for delivering lectures and seminars as per the syllabus and curriculum of their respective engineering branch. Their main duties include developing and updating course materials, conducting research, publishing academic papers, and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate student projects. They mentor students, guide teaching assistants, and actively participate in departmental meetings.
Additionally, they contribute to curriculum development, organize seminars, workshops, and guest lectures, and write grant proposals for research funding. They also attend academic conferences, network with industry and academic peers, and perform administrative duties.
This role applies specifically to Mechanical Engineering (ME), Information Technology (IT), Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering (CSE), and Electronics & Communication (ES), with teaching and research specialization aligned to each branch.
