Role Description The Assistant Professor role is a full-time on-site position based in Tindivanam. The primary responsibilities include delivering lectures, preparing course materials, and mentoring students. The Assistant Professor will engage in academic research, participate in curriculum development, and contribute to departmental and university-level initiatives. Additional tasks include staying updated with advancements in their subject area and providing guidance to students on research projects and assignments. Qualifications Expertise in subject-specific pedagogy, curriculum design, and research methodologies Ability to deliver engaging lectures and mentoring students effectively Strong academic writing, communication, and presentation skills Collaborative skills to work with colleagues and contribute to university initiatives Demonstrated passion for teaching, academic excellence, and student development A doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in a relevant field along with significant teaching/research experience Publications in peer-reviewed journals and experience in contributing to academic projects
