Assistant Professor of Microbiology

**DLR Arts and Science College, Villapakkam** is inviting applications for the position of **Assistant Professor in Microbiology**. This is a full-time academic role focused on teaching undergraduate courses, conducting scholarly research, mentoring students, and contributing to departmental and institutional development. The ideal candidate should hold a Ph.D. in Microbiology or a closely related discipline; however, highly qualified candidates with a Master’s degree and NET/SET/SLET may also be considered as per UGC norms. Applicants should demonstrate strong subject knowledge, effective teaching skills, and a commitment to academic excellence and student success. Prior teaching experience at the college level and research publications in peer-reviewed journals are desirable. The candidate is expected to engage in curriculum development, academic advising, and co-curricular activities that support a holistic learning environment at DLR Arts and Science College.
