Assistant Professor of Mathematics

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate Mathematics Professor to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, excellent teaching skills, and a commitment to fostering student learning and academic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in Mathematics (Algebra, Calculus, Geometry, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, etc.)
• Develop and update curriculum, lesson plans, and teaching materials in alignment with academic standards
• Guide students in academic projects, research, and problem-solving activities
• Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback
• Mentor and counsel students to support academic and career development
• Engage in scholarly research, publications, and conferences to contribute to the field of Mathematics
• Participate in departmental meetings, academic planning, and institutional initiatives
• Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methodologies for effective learning outcomes

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Masters/Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related discipline from a recognized university
• Strong academic record with demonstrated expertise in core and applied areas of Mathematics
• Prior teaching or research experience at college/university level preferred
• Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills
• Ability to engage students in interactive and outcome-based learning
• Commitment to academic excellence and continuous professional development
