Job Summary:

The Assistant Professor of English will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in English literature and language, conducting research, guiding students in academic and professional growth, and contributing to departmental and institutional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach courses in English Literature, Linguistics, Communication Skills, and Writing as per the curriculum.
• Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and evaluation methods to ensure effective learning outcomes.
• Engage students through lectures, discussions, and assignments fostering critical thinking and creativity.
• Conduct research and publish in peer-reviewed journals, books, and conferences.
• Supervise student projects, dissertations, and academic writing.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum design, and academic audits.
• Assist in organizing seminars, workshops, literary events, and conferences.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
• Contribute to institutional committees and community outreach activities.
• Stay updated with current trends in English studies, pedagogy, and technology integration in education.

Qualification & Experience:

• Ph.D. in English (as per UGC Regulations).
• Teaching / Research experience at the college or university level.
• Publications in reputed academic journals.
• Familiarity with ICT tools and e-learning platforms.

Pay: ₹40,002.17 - ₹45,100.28 per month
