Job Description: You will be joining the School of Business and Management (SOBM) at Maharishi University of Information Technology, Noida as a full-time Assistant Professor in Finance. Your role will involve teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Finance, developing innovative course materials, and supervising student research. Additionally, you will be conducting high-quality research, engaging in collaborative projects, and actively seeking research grants. Your contribution to departmental, school, and university committees, as well as fostering industry partnerships, will be essential. Key Responsibilities: - Delivering courses in Finance such as Corporate Finance, Financial Markets, Investment Analysis, and Fin-Tech - Developing engaging course materials aligned with academic and industry trends - Supervising student research and theses at undergraduate, masters, and doctoral levels - Conducting and publishing high-quality research in reputable finance or economics journals - Collaborating on interdisciplinary research within the SOBM and with external stakeholders - Pursuing research grants and funding opportunities - Participating in departmental, school, and university committees and activities - Contributing to the development of new academic programs and curriculum updates - Building relationships with industry partners to enhance research relevance and student employability Qualification Required: - Ph.D. in Finance or a related field - Strong research pipeline with publications in recognized peer-reviewed journals or potential for top-tier journal publications - Demonstrated teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level - Commitment to academic excellence, collegiality, and service Additional Company Details (if available): The School of Business and Management (SOBM) at Maharishi University of Information Technology, Noida is dedicated to academic excellence in teaching, research, and service.
