As an Assistant Professor in Financial Technology at the University of Bristol's Mumbai Enterprise Campus (MEC), you will play a key role in contributing to curriculum and research development, strengthening the University's academic reputation, and engaging with external stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include: - **Leadership, Culture, and Engagement** - Participate in faculty committees, academic events, student recruitment, and quality assurance processes. - Contribute to institutional development and training initiatives. - Build industry and/or academic partnerships to enhance the University's visibility. - Collaborate with Professional Services partners for administrative and governance duties. - **Teaching** - Design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Financial Technology. - Contribute to curriculum development and programme design. - Implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student experience and employability. - Play a role in curriculum development, accreditation, and quality assurance standards. - **Research** - Supervise student research projects and provide academic guidance. - Publish high-quality research in reputable academic journals. - Pursue research funding and interdisciplinary collaborations. **Essential Qualifications** - A completed PhD in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline. - Ability to teach at high standards in fintech at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. - Track record of scholarly research and potential for publications. - Organisational, administrative, communication, and leadership skills. - Proactive approach to professional development. **Desirable Criteria** - Between 2 and 10 years of academic experience post-PhD. - Experience in teaching, research, or both in higher education. - Strong mentoring and supervisory skills.
