Assistant Professor in Engineering Department - Electrical Engineering

As an Electrical Engineering (Power Electronics) Lecturer at the institution, your role will involve delivering lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students. Additionally, you will be responsible for designing and developing curriculum materials for new courses or academic programs in relevant fields. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with faculty members on interdisciplinary projects that integrate agronomic principles with areas such as horticulture, forestry, and environmental studies. Active participation in departmental meetings to contribute to the formulation and implementation of academic policies is also expected from you. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students - Design and develop curriculum materials for new courses or academic programs - Collaborate with faculty members on interdisciplinary projects - Participate actively in departmental meetings and contribute to academic policies Qualifications Required: - B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering - M.Tech in Electrical Engineering - Ph.D./Doctorate in Electrical Engineering preferred - 2 to 8 years of teaching experience in an academic or industry setting - Strong foundational knowledge of agronomic principles - Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively If you possess a Ph.D. or are NET qualified in B.Tech/M.Tech, you will be given preference during the selection process.
