You will be responsible for delivering lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions to undergraduate and postgraduate students in the field of Civil Engineering, specifically Geotechnical Engineering. Your role will also involve designing and developing curriculum materials for new courses and academic programs. Collaboration with faculty members on interdisciplinary projects that integrate agronomic principles with areas like horticulture, forestry, and environmental studies will be a key aspect of this position. Active participation in departmental meetings and contribution to the development and implementation of academic policies are also expected from you. The ideal candidate should hold a B.Tech, M.Tech, or Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering from a recognized university. A minimum of 1 to 5 years of teaching experience in either academic or industry settings is required. A strong grasp of agronomic principles and the ability to apply this knowledge in teaching and research are essential. Excellent communication skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively with students, colleagues, and external partners are also important qualities for this role. Educational Qualifications: - UG: B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering - PG: M.Tech in Civil Engineering - Doctorate: Ph.D./Doctorate in Civil Engineering Candidates with a Ph.D. or those who are NET Qualified in B.Tech or M.Tech will be given preference during the selection process.
