Job Description

Key roles of an Assistant Professor :

  1. Teaching and Instruction

    : Deliver lectures, conduct practical sessions, and supervise clinical skills training for medical students to enhance their understanding of the subject.

  2. Curriculum Development

    : Contribute to the creation and regular updating of the curriculum to ensure it aligns with current medical practices, research, and technology.

  3. Research

  4. Assessment and Evaluation

    : Develop and administer exams, quizzes, and practical assessments, ensuring fair evaluation of students understanding and skills in the subject.

  5. Clinical Supervision

    : If applicable, supervise students during their clinical rotations, ensuring they apply theoretical knowledge in real-world medical settings.

  6. Academic Advising and Mentorship

    : Offer academic guidance and mentorship to students, helping them navigate their medical education and career development.

Academic Qualifications:

MBBS+MS/DNB in General Surgery
