People’s University, Bhopal invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in English. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate students, contributing to academic development, and participating in institutional activities.
Eligibility Criteria:
Must have completed M.A. in English from a recognized university
UGC NET qualified
Teaching experience in a college or university is required
Ph.D. in English will be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver lectures and conduct tutorials/practical sessions as per curriculum
Prepare lesson plans, course materials, and assessments
Evaluate student performance and provide academic guidance
Participate in academic meetings, seminars, and departmental activities
Contribute to research, publications, and other academic initiatives of the university
Skills Required:
Strong command of English literature and language
Effective communication and teaching skills
Ability to engage and mentor students
Commitment to academic excellence and professional ethics
