Assistant Production Engineer For HDPE pipes

As an Assistant Production Engineer at Western Irrigation System Pvt. Ltd., you will be a crucial part of our HDPE Pipe Extrusion Plant team. With a minimum of 3 years of experience in HDPE pipe manufacturing and a CIPET degree, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient production of HDPE pipes ranging from 20mm to 500mm in diameter, as well as HDPE PLB telecom duct pipes. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in the supervision and operation of the HDPE pipe extrusion plant. - Monitoring extrusion processes, machine parameters, and quality control to maintain product standards. - Troubleshooting machinery issues and production defects to minimize downtime. - Maintaining and improving production efficiency, process optimization, and waste reduction. - Coordinating with maintenance teams for machine upkeep and preventive maintenance. - Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. - Preparing daily production reports and assisting in inventory management. - Working closely with the quality control team to ensure the final product meets specifications. To excel in this role, you must possess: - A degree from CIPET (Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology). - A minimum of 3 years of experience in HDPE pipe extrusion manufacturing. - Strong knowledge of HDPE material properties, extrusion process, and troubleshooting techniques. - Knowledge of IS 4984 and TEC Standards related to HDPE pipe manufacturing. - Familiarity with PLB duct manufacturing processes is a plus. - Ability to operate and monitor extrusion machines effectively. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. - Understanding of ISO standards and quality control procedures.
