Assistant / Manager, Projects, Group Development Management

As an Asset Manager, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of development works for new developments and existing assets across various sector classes. Your key responsibilities will include: - Conceptualizing development design requirements and formulating design briefs aligned with the Company's development strategy - Managing design concepts/options, design consultants, and liaising with relevant authorities for project approvals - Managing tender and award processes, construction, contract administration, and overseeing the development process from inception to completion - Engaging service providers according to procurement procedures, ensuring projects are completed within budget, on schedule, meeting quality standards, and complying with regulatory requirements and corporate governance - Reporting project issues and status regularly and accurately To qualify for this position, you should have: - A degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field - A minimum of 7 years of relevant development or project management experience in executing commercial, retail, residential, industrial, and/or logistics projects - The ability to encourage the creation of solutions that meet the needs of business units, shareholders, and the environment - Strong leadership skills, independence, initiative, accountability, cultural sensitivity, endurance, and adaptability - The ability to work effectively as part of a team This role requires seeking continuous improvement in design and processes, challenging the status quo, and value engineering solutions.
