Assistant Manager - Projects

Role & responsibilities

• Assist in planning and execution of civil construction projects in line with project goals.
  
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
  
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  
• Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications.
  
• Support project documentation, budgeting, and reporting.
  
• Assist in resolving technical issues and managing project risks.
  
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s preferred.
  
• [3–7] years of experience in civil project execution (infrastructure, residential, commercial, or industrial).
  
• Proficient in MS Project, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
  
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project lifecycle.
  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
  
• Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
