Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboard the enterprise applications into Azure DevOps, develop, document, and implement CI/CD strategy using Azure cloud stack.
  • Understand customer requirements and KPIs, functional and non-functional.
  • Lead and implement DevOps enterprise strategy; applying best practices on development, testing, infrastructure and operations through automation tools.
  • Build automated guardrails and ensuring secure, high-quality deliveries across the entire team.
  • Be part of the regional DevOps CoE, mentor local teams, driving culture and capabilities adoption to increase level of maturity across LatAm
  • Troubleshooting and resolving production management incidents, problems and service requests.
  • Measure effectiveness of process improvement and automation efforts via metrics and KPIs.
  • Identifies trends of new DevOps capabilities to integrate new tools and practices to the organization.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required:

  • 5+ years of field experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in developing API and scripting using Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell.
  • 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipeline configuration and support, Azure DevOps, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, and/or Jenkins.
  • 3+ years of experience with containerization, Docker and/or Kubernetes.
  • 3+ years of experience with deployment to Cloud platform (Azure is preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience with Git-based repositories such as Azure Repos or GitHub.
  • Cross functional leadership: organize, motivate, and lead those outside of the team.
  • Experience with various database technologies and solutions, including both SQL (Oracle or MS SQL Server preferred) and NoSQL (MongoDB or others).
  • Experience with packaging/deployment of Java applications.
  • Strong remote collaboration, leadership and communication skills.
  • English & Spanish language proficiency.
  • Deep knowledge of agile methodologies (SAFe is preferred).
