Assistant Manager Mumbai

In this role at B S R & Co. LLP, your main responsibility will be to assist the team during new client pitches or new assignments with existing clients. This involves understanding client requirements from both advisory and compliance services perspectives and helping in the preparation of draft proposals outlining the detailed scope of work. Additionally, you will be supporting the team in completing risk processes before initiating engagements and providing advisory services, including preparing/reviewing tax computations and periodic GST returns. Your duties will also include ensuring that client timelines/statutory due dates for providing advisory or compliance services are met, assisting during VAT/Service Tax or GST Audits or Assessments, and aiding in litigation matters. Furthermore, you will be responsible for communicating indirect tax updates to clients and the team, guiding and advising on indirect tax concepts, and participating actively in training sessions as both a trainer and trainee. As part of the role, you will need to uphold the quality of deliverables within specified timelines, assist seniors with practice management regarding billing clients and tracking receivables, and engage in team collaboration for successful project outcomes. **Qualifications:** - Qualified CA **Skills Required:** - Strong analytical ability - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Client relationship management - Team player - Experience in Indirect tax litigation would be an added advantage **Experience:** - 3 - 5 years of experience in Indirect tax compliance and advisory services At B S R & Co.
