Assistant Manager MCU and Motor Testing & Validation

Job Description

Support in defining and capturing requirements for 800V DC power electronics components in 3W, LCV, and HCV applications. • Assist in designing motor controller applications and DC-DC converter architecture for 800V DC systems. • Work with senior engineers to develop vehicle-level electrical architecture and provide inputs to mechanical, electrical, and testing teams. • Support the calibration of motor controllers for up to 800V traction systems. • Participate in component and vehicle-level testing for up to 800V powertrains. • Support in developing and executing test plans for high-voltage (HV) motor controllers and power electronics. • Prepare and maintain CAN matrix and assist in creating DBC files for sub-system communication. • Support in defining diagnostic strategies for 800V system controllers. • Contribute to future requirements for 800V powertrain components, and calibration strategies. • Assist in preparing electrical interface documents for VI. • Work with senior engineers to analyse field failures, support root cause analysis, and collaborate with the CFT team.
