Role & responsibilities Job Summary We are looking for a skilled AWS Java Developer with 6-9 years of experience, proficient in Java 11+, Spring Boot, and modern cloud-native development. The ideal candidate will have experience working with SQL and exposure to NoSQL databases, containerization, AWS services, CI/CD pipelines, and event-driven architectures. Key Responsibilities: Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Java 11+, Spring Boot, and related technologies. Work with SQL databases like PostgreSQL and have exposure to NoSQL databases like DynamoDB and Elasticsearch. Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker/Podman, including Docker Compose, networks, and volumes. Design and develop microservices-based architectures leveraging AWS services such as API Gateway (APIGW), ALB, VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, IAM policies, Lambda, SQS, ECS, and MSK. Apply CI/CD practices, including GIT, GIT Pipelines, SonarQube, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Utilize Java design patterns and multithreading to build scalable applications. Work with event-driven systems, preferably using Kafka. Write and maintain scripts in Python, Node.js, and Shell scripting to automate tasks. Work in an Agile environment with continuous delivery, ensuring high-quality and timely deliverables. Continuously learn and contribute towards team objectives while improving code quality and system performance. Required Skills & Qualifications: 6-9 years of experience in Java development (Java 11+). Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Spring Boot and related technologies. Strong experience with SQL databases and exposure to NoSQL databases like DynamoDB and Elasticsearch. Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Podman). 1+ year of experience in AWS or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner-level knowledge. AWS Developer Certification is preferred. Experience working with AWS services (APIGW, ALB, VPC, Subnets, IAM, Lambda, SQS, ECS, MSK). Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and practices. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like AWS CDKTF. Familiarity with Java design patterns and multithreading concepts. Exposure to event-driven systems like Kafka. Strong problem-solving skills and a learning mindset. Experience working in Agile teams and contributing to team goals.
