Assistant Manager-Internal Audit

You will be joining Birlasoft, a global leader in Cloud, AI, and Digital technologies, as an Assistant Manager in the Internal Audit / GRC function. With 4 to 5 years of experience and a specialization in Finance & Operations (F&O), you will be based in Pune and report to the Director Internal Audit. Your key responsibilities will include executing the approved internal audit plan, covering financial, operational, compliance, and ITGC domains. You will evaluate internal controls, recommend enhancements to mitigate risks, and collaborate with senior leadership to address audit findings. Additionally, you will coordinate with external auditors to ensure comprehensive coverage, drive adoption of audit tools and frameworks, and verify the design and operating effectiveness of the IFC framework. You will also support investigations related to fraud, ethics, and compliance breaches and other special initiatives to enhance controls and governance within the organization. To excel in this role, you must possess expertise in risk-based audits, SOX, IFC, RCM, and ITGC testing. Your leadership and collaboration skills will be essential for leading cross-functional teams and engaging with senior stakeholders. Strong analytical thinking, excellent communication, proficiency in audit management systems and ERM tools, and the ability to align audit activities with business strategy are key competencies required for this position. The ideal candidate will hold a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification, with certifications such as CIA, CISA, or CFE preferred for roles involving investigations. A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in internal audit, with exposure to financial audits, operational audits, and compliance frameworks, is necessary for this role.,
