Assistant Manager Instrumentation & Automation

As an Assistant Manager Instrumentation & Automation at Gradiant India Private Limited in Chennai, India, you will play a crucial role in preparing technical documentation for instrumentation and systems requisitions. Your responsibilities will include: - Preparing specifications for instruments, Control systems like PLC, DCS, ESD, F&G, and their installations. - Optimizing instrument systems to ensure minimal cost and simplification while meeting performance requirements. - Creating instrument data sheets, loop diagrams, and implementing instrument detail designs on P&ID's. - Handling activities such as preparing instrument material take-off, Instrument HOOK UP Diagram, Cable Schedule, Cable Routing Layout with BOM, Instrument Earthing Layout, JB Schedule, and JB/RIO Panel Interconnection Drawing. - Reviewing 3D Models in Navis and preparing Erection Documents. - Providing side support for Commissioning and performing the F.A.T./ S.A.T. with suppliers. Qualifications required for this role: - A degree in Engineering or a related field. - Experience in preparing technical documentation for instrumentation and systems. - Proficiency in tools like PLC, DCS, ESD, F&G, and familiarity with instrument detail design. - Strong attention to detail and the ability to optimize instrument systems.
