Assistant Manager in Operations Settlement (Disaster Recovery site)

Role Overview: You specialize in the settlement process to ensure that trades (equities, derivatives, bonds, FX, etc.) are correctly matched, cleared, and settled on time. At the Disaster Recovery (DR) site, your role is to mirror and back up the settlement activities of the primary operations team so that settlements can continue without disruption in case the main site is down. Key Responsibilities: - Settling trades with clearing houses, custodians, or counterparties. - Reconciliation of settlement positions. - Monitoring settlement fails and resolving them. - Coordinating with counterparties, custodians, and internal teams for settlement status. - Testing settlement continuity during DR drills. Qualifications Required: - Knowledge of settlement cycles (T+1, T+2, etc.). - Strong reconciliation and exception management skills. Additional Details of the Company: You will be part of a team that ensures smooth operations from the Disaster Recovery (DR) site, coordinating with primary site teams, technology teams, and internal stakeholders. Your role includes attending SEBI inspections, responding to regulatory queries, updating SOPs, and managing adhoc activities assigned by the primary site team. Current CTC and Expected CTC should be clearly mentioned.
