Manager/Asst. Manager-Engineering Purchase.
Key responsibilities-
Deep technical understanding with sharp commercial skills, focusing on sourcing, negotiating, and managing suppliers for engineering goods (like pharmaceutical machineries, machinery components, capital items, etc.) while ensuring quality, timely delivery, cost-efficiency, and compliance, good knowledge of SAP, and coordinating heavily with Engineering, Production, and Finance teams to meet project demand.
Good procurement skills of specific engineering materials (steel, pipes, cement, other construction related items, etc.)
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Position: Asst. Manager/Manager (Location Haridwar)
Education: Engineering degree (Mechanical/Electrical preferred) or Supply Chain Management.
Experience: 10+ years in procurement, ideally in Pharmaceutical manufacturing industry
Technical Aptitude: Strong negotiation, costing, vendor development, and risk mitigation skills.
Software Proficiency: ERP systems (SAP), MS Excel/MS Word
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, coordination, problem-solving, and leadership
